Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Call Centre Assistant at Tekkie Town’s Support Centre in George. This is a temporary 3-month contract role within the Customer Services Team, focused on ensuring high-quality service and support across all stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to complaints from customers and the store by phone, email, mail, or social media.
- Make calls to customers and stores to verify or obtain information.
- Perform basic day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Assist with processing orders, refunds, or exchanges.
- Assist the supervisor of customer services in upholding high standards of service.
- Accurately file documentation electronically and manually.
- Prepare data and reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent (essential)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- Fluency in Xhosa or other African language (advantageous)
- Professional voice tone on calls
- Excellent attention to detail
- Customer service focus
