Overview
Forvis Mazars is offering a valuable learnership opportunity for a motivated individual to join their IT Audit Department as a Data Analyst intern. This role is part of the Audit and Advisory function and provides hands-on learning, mentorship, and training in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyse data using statistical techniques
- Create and manage databases and data collection systems
- Acquire data from multiple sources and maintain data integrity
- Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets
- Clean and review data for accuracy and consistency
- Support management with business data needs
- Find and define opportunities for process improvement
Minimum Requirements
- 3-year post-matric qualification (IT or Quantitative subjects advantageous)
- Technical experience with data models, databases, and data mining
- Proficient in SQL and database management
- Strong Excel skills (VBA Excel is a bonus)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with report writing and presenting data findings
