Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a reputable client in the development finance sector. The company is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Technician with specialized skills in audio and visual support.
About the Role
This position is perfect for someone with strong IT support experience and hands-on knowledge of AV technologies, hybrid event coordination, and live streaming.
Minimum Requirements
- BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or IT Engineering (mandatory).
- 5–8 years’ experience in a Service Desk or IT support role using Microsoft technologies (mandatory).
- Microsoft certifications (advantageous).
- Experience with OBS, Restream, MS Teams, Zoom.
- Proven record of AV equipment handling and event coordination.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer first and second line IT support, emphasising unified communication tools and antivirus software.
- Install and maintain AV hardware, such as speakers, projectors, cameras, and lighting.
- Support hybrid and live-streamed internal and external events.
- Troubleshoot escalated technical issues and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Provide post-production video editing and manage session uploads.
- Manage inventory and documentation for AV assets.
- Create AV user guides and train end-users.
- Support senior technicians during peak periods or absences.
