Job Description
ADvTECH’s IIE Varsity College Waterfall Campus is hiring a dedicated Senior ICT Support specialist. This is an exciting opportunity in a leading educational institution committed to academic excellence and ICT advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WLAN, and WAN infrastructure daily.
- Install and configure servers and hardware when needed.
- Make sure that patching, updates, and other security procedures are followed.
- Liaise with external vendors for advanced support and troubleshooting.
- Handle escalated technical issues and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Oversee the campus ICT Service Desk and ensure proper support allocation.
- Mentor ICT support staff, coordinate their activities, and assist in interviews and appraisals.
Minimum Requirements
- Higher Certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 5) in A+/N+/MCSE/MCTIP (mandatory).
- Advanced Certificate or Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the same fields (advantageous).
- two to three years of experience working at a service desk or providing ICT support.

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07h00–16h00 or 10h00–19h00
- Friday: 08h00–17h00
- Saturday: 08h00–12h00
